My next moan.......ADCB! Why when I have a substantial amount in investments with them do they make me jump through hoops to fill in the forms for a checking account (I am self employed) and then inform me that I have to wait 10 to 15 days for the application to be processed!!!! Sadly the Manager was not there when I received that bit of news and I was leaving the next day!

They have my history with EmNBD (who I am leaving because they are totally unable to keep competant people or they promote them away from personal banking ...

Why is it that Banks in the UK and USA take their customers side when dealing with fraudulent charges, BUT Emirates bank in the UAE (or Network International) instantly block the card and make you wait 10 days for a replacement (a disaster when travelling!!). Then despite the fact that you have both agreed that the charge is fraudulent they transfer the charge to the new card and unless you pay it off you have to pay interest on it until they get confirmation from the Merchant!!! This procedure takes 3 months!

I thought it acceptable perhaps when the tire shop added the 2% on my bill to pay with my card, or even the garage for repairs..… but when my health clinic did it it got me thinking!...
