Want to know who is buying shares and keeping the local bourses ticking over?
Wednesday, 22 May 2013Want to know who is buying shares and keeping the local bourses ticking over? The GCC Sovereign Wealth Funds.
During the financial crisis of 2008 many of the GCC Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF) played key roles in shoring up western institutions. They are now performing a similar role across the GCC, providing liquidity and increasing direct investment, particularly to financial institutions, energy, utilities and infrastructure sectors.

When your average bag of chemical-free carrots cost five times the amount of the usual bunch, one has to draw a line in the sand after all.

After 2 weeks of follow up, we found that they had sent the receipt to a non-existent email address. Further follow-up finally yielded the agreement. This was a one-sheeter, wherein we were authorising them, among other things, ...
